Scheduled hibernation & automatic wake-up

Put the scooter into its deepest sleep for a chosen duration or on a recurring schedule, then have it wake itself when you need it again.

What timed hibernation does

1.1+ Hibernation leaves the scooter almost completely off and greatly reduces the load on its internal backup batteries. Set a wake time once, or create a recurring schedule such as sleeping every night.

Hibernate for a chosen duration

  1. Connect to the scooter over Bluetooth in stasis for unu (Android, iOS).
  2. Open the scooter controls and choose Hibernation.
  3. Select when the scooter should wake. The app offers common durations and a custom duration, up to the scooter's default seven-day timer limit.
  4. Confirm Hibernate. The scooter powers down and wakes itself after the selected duration.

You can wake it sooner at any time by holding both brake levers for about six seconds or by connecting over paired Bluetooth. A keycard alone does not wake a scooter from hibernation.

Set a recurring schedule

  1. While connected to the scooter, open App Settings → Power → Scheduled hibernation.
  2. Choose the hibernation time, whether it repeats daily, weekly, or monthly, and when the scooter should wake.
  3. Enable the schedule. It is stored on the scooter, so the phone does not need to remain connected and no SIM is required.
  4. Lock the scooter normally. Scheduled hibernation only starts from standby.

If the scheduled time arrives while the scooter is unlocked or being ridden, Hibernation starts the next time it reaches standby. The wake time does not move: with a 22:00 to 06:00 schedule, locking at 23:00 still means waking at 06:00. If you lock it after 06:00, that occurrence is skipped.

Make sure the clock is synchronized

The schedule follows the scooter's clock and does not run until that clock has been synchronized. GPS provides the time without a SIM. After a long power-off, take the scooter outside and wait for a GPS fix before relying on the next scheduled hibernation.

Battery care during longer storage

Hibernation reduces drain; it does not stop it completely. The internal backup batteries still discharge slowly. For longer storage, leave a charged main battery in the front slot and check the scooter every few weeks. See Battery & energy for more storage guidance.
