Smart Steering Lock

The steering lock gets out of your way automatically.

How it works

When you power on the scooter, just turn the handlebars. The vehicle service detects the movement via the steering lock sensor and releases the lock. No button press, no menu — just grab and go.

After shutdown, there's a grace period of about 10 seconds before the steering lock engages. This gives you time to position the handlebars where you want them before the lock clicks in.

Why this exists

On the stock firmware, you had to manage the steering lock manually. LibreScoot handles it for you. It's a small thing, but it makes the daily lock-unlock-ride cycle noticeably smoother.
